Good construction workers haven't disappeared.Hiring just got more complicated
Job boards eatyour budget
US industry data shows the average trades hire takes over a month. At current Indeed rates, that’s over $4,000 in job ads, and you still do the vetting.
Nights andweekends
Hiring doesn’t fit in a workday. It ends up on your phone after the crew goes home.
Recruiters who’ve neverbeen on a site
They don’t know an operator from a laborer, so you spend your time explaining the job instead of filling it.

Our story
From Alaska job sitesto nationwide hiring
HeavyCraft started as a temp labor company. We’ve supplied crews to mine sites and power plants across Alaska.
Over time we processed thousands of candidates for a wide range of trades positions. We saw the same pattern everywhere: messy hiring strategies were the real problem.
So we built our own hiring system, with structured interviews, our own hiring data, and vetting by people who have done the work. Today we recruit for construction companies nationwide.
Our founder, Chase Hahn, spent 8 years on these same sites doing welding, corrosion repair and maintenance. Through this experience, he has built an understanding of what a good worker is.
