Get Ready for Your Interview
We don’t expect perfection—but we do expect effort.
At Heavycraft, we connect hard-working people with serious job opportunities in Alaska’s industrial, construction, and mining sectors. If you’ve got the right attitude and are ready to work, we’ll meet you halfway. But we don’t have time for no-shows, people who don’t take the process seriously, or those who aren’t ready to follow through.
What You Need to Know Before the Call:
Be on time.
Your interview will be virtual. Make sure you’re ready 5 minutes early, in a quiet space, with decent lighting.
Dress like you want the job.
We’re not asking for a suit—but don’t take the call shirtless in bed. Show some pride.
Speak honestly.
We don’t expect you to have it all figured out, but we do expect honest answers. If you’re new, just say that. If you’ve got skills, be ready to talk about them.
Be ready to talk about:
-
What kind of work you’re looking for
-
What you’re good at (and what you’re not)
-
Whether you’re ready to travel or work long hours
-
Your experience with tools, heavy equipment, or job sites
We keep some of our questions under wraps on purpose—so don’t try to script your answers. Just be real, be respectful, and show up with a good attitude.
